Video Game Palooza has a deep-rooted history in esports, driven by our passion for gaming and education. We have been leaders in creating platforms that inspire, engage, and open doors to career pathways within the esports ecosystem.
Our experience began with The LAN Network (TLN), a pioneering esports platform that we launched to bring competitive gaming to a global audience. TLN became a hub for esports enthusiasts and professionals, offering state-of-the-art facilities for hosting tournaments and fostering talent. This laid the foundation for our continued growth and leadership in esports.
In 2016, we expanded our vision locally by creating Game On Esports in Westfield, Indiana. This initiative brought esports to the community, offering a dedicated space for gamers to connect, compete, and explore the many facets of the esports industry. We hosted numerous events that allowed players of all ages to engage in structured, safe, and fun esports competitions while also gaining exposure to the broader opportunities within the industry.
Our Esports Mission
At Video Game Palooza, we believe esports is more than just playing video games—it’s a gateway to career development, technological innovation, and personal growth. Our esports programs are designed to connect students’ passions for gaming with career pathways in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) fields, preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital world.
We provide a comprehensive toolkit through Pathway Esports™, which includes:
- Career Pathways: Opportunities beyond playing, such as content creation, game development, shoutcasting, business partnerships, and more.
- Academic Learning Modules: These modules focus on career awareness, technology skills, computer literacy, and health and safety protocols.
- Scholarship Guidance: Resources for college scholarships, helping students leverage their skills for higher education.
- Inclusive Gaming Environment: Equity-based educational practices that promote diversity and inclusion, ensuring a supportive space for players of all genders, races, and ethnicities.
Through these tools, students can channel their passion into meaningful opportunities, from competing in tournaments to exploring future careers in game design, broadcasting, event planning, and marketing.
